Sigma Technology signs a strategic IT framework agreement with CSN

Sigma Technology IT Group has become one of the selected IT consulting partners for the Swedish Board of Student Finance (CSN). The new framework agreement will take effect on January 1, 2025, and will continue until December 31, 2027, with the option to extend for another year.

CSN, the Swedish Board of Student Finance, is responsible for administering student finance, home equipment loans, and driver’s license loans in Sweden. To ensure the long-term development of its IT systems and services and to meet its need for IT consulting services, CSN conducted a procurement process. Sigma Technology IT Group was one of the selected IT companies to win this competitive tender.

“CSN’s vision is to build and support a knowledge-based society and a strong economy by enabling individuals to study, regardless of their social, economic, or geographic background. Accessible and user-friendly IT services and IT system support are essential components of this. We are proud to have been entrusted by CSN and to become one of their selected suppliers,” says Anna Nyblin, Bid Manager at Sigma Technology IT Group.

The framework agreement, which takes effect on January 1, 2025, can last up to four years and covers specialized expertise in IT architecture, project management, requirements analysis, testing, system development, usability, UX, and IT infrastructure. Delivery of consulting services can be provided on-site at CSN, remotely, or as a hybrid of both.

“This framework agreement is a significant step in our strategy to become Sweden’s leading IT supplier to the public sector. With our broad range of services and cutting-edge IT expertise, we aim to be a comprehensive supplier to drive digital transformation,” says Johan Edlund, CEO of Sigma Technology IT Group.
