Organized by the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine and a consulting organization Business Sweden, the event is expected to welcome the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden Carl Bildt, the Ambassador of Sweden in Ukraine Andreas von Beckerath, the Minister of Economics Development and Trade of Ukraine Pavlo Sheremeta, the Vice Prime Minister for Regional Policy of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, and other high officials.
Major Swedish and Ukrainian companies became Forum partners, among them are a multinational provider of communications technology and services Ericsson, a multinational food packaging and processing company Tetra Pak, cosmetics group Oriflame, Swedish financial group Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB), a major Swedish automotive industry manufacturer Scania, Shelton Petroleum — a company engaged in exploration and production of oil and gas. The representatives of professional communities including the European Business Association were also invited to the Forum.
As one of the event partners, Sigma will take part in all Forum activities and in particular, will participate in panel debates dedicated to ICT technologies role in cross-sector upgrade. The hot topics to be discussed would be how to create favorable conditions for Ukrainian IT industry, how the government supports the sector development, how to bring education of the IT specialists on the new level. Carl Vikingsson, CEO at Sigma Technology Group, is invited as a panelist of the ICT sector.
