About the Project

A global organization operating across multiple countries set out to modernize and unify its digital ecosystem. With 21 independent websites across regions, brands, and languages, the company needed a centralized digital platform to streamline content management, reduce complexity, and support future growth. The vision was to build one powerful, scalable CMS serving all markets under a single global web presence.

The Challenge

Before consolidation, the organization’s digital footprint was fragmented, leading to operational inefficiencies and inconsistent user experiences. Key issues included:

  • Inconsistent branding and user experience
  • Difficulty managing multilingual content
  • Limited content reuse across countries
  • Complex editorial workflows
  • Technical debt and limited scalability

To overcome these challenges, the company needed a unified platform that centralized global content while still enabling local teams to operate with flexibility and autonomy.

The Solution

Ibexa DXP was selected for its strong capabilities in complex, multi-site, multilingual enterprise environments. All 21 websites were consolidated, aligned, and integrated into one centralized platform using structured interfaces and a modular architecture.

The implementation centered around:

  • Centralization: Migrating all country websites into a single Ibexa DXP instance.
  • Multi-site Architecture: Shared global components with localized layouts, ensuring consistency while supporting regional needs.
  • Role-based Workflows: Fine-grained permissions enabling country teams to manage their own content with editorial control from headquarters.
  • Modular Design System: Reusable content blocks and components for consistent UX and faster content creation.
  • Seamless Integrations: API connections to internal tools, data sources, and CRM systems.
  • Localization: Support for 10+ languages and streamlined translation workflows using Ibexa’s built-in localization tools.

The Results

The global consolidation delivered a stronger, more resilient, and future-ready digital presence:

  • Unified branding and consistent user experience
  • Higher editorial efficiency via shared workflows and reusable components
  • Faster content deployment and easier localization
  • Improved performance and SEO across the entire platform
  • A scalable digital foundation to support continued international growth
