WELL-ARCHITECTED REVIEW TO BUILD SECURE, HIGH-PERFORMING, RESILIENT, AND EFFICIENT INFRASTRUCTURE
Sigma Technology Cloud helps organizations ensure a workload’s ability to deliver business value and build efficient infrastructure for various applications and workloads. Within the Well-Architected Review (WAR), we perform an architectural assessment based on the Well-Architected Framework. It is not just an audit but a conversation between key stakeholders, personnel, and a certified architect from Sigma Technology Cloud.
WHY MIGHT YOU NEED THE WELL-ARCHITECTED REVIEW?
- Understand the state of a workload to accelerate remediation of potential issues.
- Identify and remediate potential risks before they affect your customers.
- Guidance on how to use new AWS services to increase business value.
- Understand the impact architectural decisions have on business value.
THE PROCESS
IDENTIFY & PREPARE
Identify the workload(s) that should be reviewed. Prepare relevant data and workload access. Schedule the review with stakeholders and key personnel, e.g, business and process owners, lead developer, and architects.
REVIEW
The review is conducted on a customer site or remotely. It includes a 4-6 hour conversation between a client and a certified architect from Sigma Technology Cloud, holding minimum AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification and specially trained to conduct the Well-Architected Review.
REPORT
The result is a WAR report delivered within 2-4 business days after the review. The review report provides a view of the alignment with best practices and recommendations and a remediation plan to enhance the reviewed cloud architecture.
REMEDIATION*
If the customer chooses to utilize Sigma Technology Cloud to carry out remediations according to recommendations and priority from the report, the client might be eligibal for funding from AWS up to $5000 in AWS credits.
