Roma Access Program (RAP) is an externally funded unit at Central European University, Budapest, Hungary. This higher education program strives to prepare professional Roma graduates to conduct local and international academic and advocacy work and to become role models and leaders for the Roma community.

In ten years, more than 100 students have graduated from the program and today it is one of the world`s most recognized and long-lasting higher education programs for Roma students. The New York Times cited the Roma Graduate Preparation Program as the “de facto hub for an elite group of young Roma intellectuals” in Europe.

“At Sigma Technology we understand how essential high-quality education is, that is why we are delighted to support RAP. The program addresses such problems as inequalities in employment, health and housing for Roma people. We believe that it contributes to the creation of a better society, with equal opportunities for all students regardless of their race and nationality,” comments György Nagy, Managing Director of Sigma Technology Hungary.
