On October 19-21, Aniko Simon and her team will participate in IEEE SITIS 2022 conference on signal image technology and internet-based systems in Dijon, France. The team will present two papers on “rugged” smartphones and the industrial utilization of glasses-free 3D visualization.

Aniko Simon, a technical writer at Sigma Technology Hungary, attends the 16th IEEE SITIS conference to dive deeper into the topic of signal image technology and internet-based systems. The SITIS conference is dedicated to researching the technologies used to represent, share, and process information in various forms, ranging from signal, image, and multimedia data to traditional structured data and semi-structured data found on the web.

Aniko is the author of 31 published scientific papers, with the most recent work on the inclusion of users with reduced visual capabilities by emerging display technologies. At this year’s SITIS conference, the research team shall present one paper on the perceived multimedia capabilities of “rugged” smartphones (with particular emphasis on cognitive bias) and another one on the industrial utilization of glasses-free 3D visualization.

Aniko shares: “I am looking forward to learning more about the latest advances in signal image technology, visiting workshops, and participating in scientific discussions with my colleagues in the industry. Furthermore, I’ve never been to Dijon before, so that adds more excitement about it as well.
