Sigma Technology is proud to announce partnership with Daya Ventures, the world’s first femtech venture studio. Daya Ventures is on a mission to close the $1 trillion+ gender health gap by building high-growth, high-impact startups. Their vision aligns perfectly with Sigma Technology’s commitment to fostering an equal and respectful workplace by supporting initiatives that promote education, equality, and inclusiveness.

Despite women making up half of the world’s population, they spend 25% more of their lives in debilitating health than men (according to McKinsey’s Women’s Health Gap Report, 2024). This disparity is due to a lack of clinical studies and insufficient investment in women’s health.

Daya is the world’s first femtech venture studio that creates the next generation of fast-growing startups to reduce the $1 trillion+ health gap between genders. By collaborating with researchers, clinicians, and industry leaders, Daya identifies and validates real needs and builds startups from the ground up.

“We are impressed by the tremendous work the Daya team has achieved in such a short time, growing into an international femtech venture studio. At Sigma, we firmly believe that entrepreneurship is the catalyst for innovation and development. By joining forces with Daya, we hope to make an impact on women’s health,” shares Nataly Lamkén, Chief Communications Officer at Sigma Technology Group.

“We are thrilled to have Sigma Technology backing Daya’s mission of closing the gender health gap, reinforcing our belief that it’s the tech industry accelerating the femtech movement and pushing boundaries on what’s possible in women’s health innovation by redefining technology together and making it more inclusive and responsible,” shares Jenny Lundkvist, Chief People Officer at Daya Ventures.

Together with sister companies within Sigma Group, Sigma Technology drives Femmegineering, organization’s global initiative dedicated to building a community of female tech professionals and contributing to a more equitable and inclusive tech industry. This partnership with Daya is a natural step in organization’s commitment to a more equal tech industry.
