Sigma Technology Elevate appoints Head of Data & AI
Sigma Technology Elevate has appointed Kristoffer Danielsen as Head of Data & AI, strengthening the company’s ability to deliver advanced data platforms and AI solutions to clients across the Nordics. The appointment reflects growing market demand for AI that moves beyond proofs-of-concept to generating measurable business value.
As the EU AI Act is phased in across Europe from 2024, it is expected to enter Norwegian law through the EEA process in the coming years. At the same time, GDPR is already in effect, and NIS2 is moving toward national implementation. For many Norwegian organizations, this creates a complex landscape of overlapping regulations, while many are simultaneously under pressure to move from AI pilots to delivering measurable business impact.
Sigma Technology Elevate responds by appointing Kristoffer Danielsen as Head of Data & AI. Kristoffer and the team will help clients build data platforms that support both compliance and operational AI, not just as pilot projects, but as real business value. As part of this strategy, Sigma Technology Elevate is assembling a team of senior data engineers, leveraging a wide range of modern AI tools, and developing scalable data platforms designed to help customers safely adopt and integrate AI technologies into operations.

Kristoffer Danielsen brings more than a decade of experience in finance, BI, and data architecture, including senior roles at Nordr and consulting across public and private sectors. He has built large-scale Nordic data platforms and has deep expertise in financial processes, governance frameworks, and the operationalization of AI in complex organizations.
His focus will be on practical AI adoption in real estate, retail, the public sector, and industry, where automation, predictive insights, and operational efficiency offer immediate opportunities.
