Sigma Technology is among the selected suppliers that have secured a strategic framework agreement with the Veterinary Institute, a key player in Norway’s health preparedness. The framework agreement aims to support the organization with IT resource consulting services. The agreement extends until July 2026, with an option for extension for up to four years.

Sigma Technology Norway AS is a growing Norwegian IT consulting group consisting of two companies based in Oslo, Sigma Technology Elevate AS and Sigma Technology Systems AS. Together, the companies offer a wide range of services including security, network architecture, cloud development, data analysis, ERP/CRM, AI, no-code/low-code operations, hybrid environments, IT development, and license management and managed services.

The Norwegian Veterinary Institute is a public institution owned by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. Its core activities include research, innovation, surveillance, risk assessment, advisory, communication, and diagnostics. The partnership with the Veterinary Institute will play an important role in supporting the authority’s extensive digitization efforts (Digitalization Program) to further develop the organization as an attractive and relevant entity for society. The National Security Authority (NSM) follows basic principles to protect assets physically, digitally, and personally. As part of the initiative within the aforementioned program, the Veterinary Institute is implementing several measures and projects focused on streamlining work processes, maintenance, development, and renewal of digital infrastructure.

Sigma Technology Norway AS was selected as one of five companies to be assigned responsibility in two critical areas: architecture and system and network administration. During the framework agreement period, there will be a need for system development for the maintenance of existing systems and necessary adaptations to maintain compatibility and data exchange with the Veterinary Institute’s applications.

“We look forward to contributing to the Veterinary Institute’s strategic initiative with the digitization program with our expertise in system development, IT infrastructure, and architecture. The Veterinary Institute uses modern and well-known tools and methods that enable smooth system development supporting the organization’s ambitious goals to create good preparedness to minimize health risks for humans, animals, and fish,” says Anna Nyblin, Bid Manager at Sigma Technology IT Group.

“We are proud that we have won the trust of the Veterinary Institute. Sigma Technology aims to become a leading provider of IT and consulting services to the Norwegian public sector. This framework agreement is important for us,” says Egil Svindal Fernando, CEO at Sigma Technology Elevate AS.
