Sigma is the Most Attractive Employer in IT Consulting Industry in Sweden
Every year, Universum asks Swedish students to vote for the most attractive Swedish employers and gathers their feedback in the Company Barometer survey. In 2021, over 21,000 students shared their votes and Sigma is ranked as the top industry employer in IT Consulting among BSc in Engineering.
The position in the Universum’s ranking counts for much, because it presents the results from Sweden’s largest and most comprehensive talent survey, Company Barometer (FöretagsBarometern). The survey analyzes feedback from students and identifies the companies that have climbed the highest since last year, the promising newcomers, the best in the industry, and the most valued employers.
Company Barometer 2021 includes feedback of more than 21,000 students and analyses what is most important to them based on their answers. The survey managed to get answers from students of 33 universities in various study areas, including Finance, Technology, Data / IT, Social and Natural Sciences, Law, Health / Medicine.
“In this highly fluctuant time, I’m glad that we can keep good relations with our employees who voted us among best employers for 8 consecutive years as well as the reputation of a reliable employer in the eyes of students. Sigma Group and Sigma Technology have a vision of “Engineering the digital revolution” which make this award essential to attract the best talents. We welcome new talents willing to develop technologies of tomorrow,” states Carl Vikingsson, CEO and President at Sigma Technology Group.
Earlier, in November 2020, Sigma Technology became the Most Recommended Employer and one of Top 3 Best Employers in Sweden by votes of our employees. Having such a high ranking internally and externally among future generation of IT specialists proves that our continuous focus in creating a workplace made for people, united by a vision of a better tomorrow, has paid off.
