Salon of Technical Communication and Technical Writing at PKU
Last Saturday, October 20th, Sigma Technology attended the Salon of Technical Communication and Technical Writing, held at Peking University (PKU). The salon was organized by PKU and the Chinese Translation Association’s localization department, and sponsored by Sigma Technology. Sigma Technology was one of the many companies that were invited, and experts from Symantec, EMC, Huawei, and Sigma Technology gave presentations regarding the technical communication industry, technical communication tools and skills, and training for technical communication, among other things.
Student Opportunities at Sigma Technology Göteborg
Sigma Technology is proud to announce our strengthened relationship with local universities in Göteborg, and would like to introduce the students currently working with us. We have seven students working with us at the moment, three as student ambassadors and four as interns. The student ambassadors represent different universities in Göteborg, and are a local contact for all students wishing to know more about Sigma Technology and Sigma IT&M. They are also involved in planning and participating in student fairs.
Sigma Technology at the Inaugural Swedish-Hungarian Innovation Forum
Sigma Technology participated in the first Swedish-Hungarian Innovation Forum on Thursday October 4. The event was inaugurated by Karin Olofsdotter, Ambassador of Sweden and Dr. Zoltán Cséfalvay, State Secretary, Ministry for National Economy. During the event, a keynote speech was given by Carl Bildt, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden. Participating Swedish companies: Sigma Technology, Electrolux, Ericsson, SAAB, Metropol, and ABB.
