-“Working for Sigma Technology was a dream, and I made it come true” says Yuting Fang enthusiastically. The dream started at the Job Opportunity Days at Växjö University (AMÅR) in 2008, where Yuting first came in contact with Sigma Technology. -“I had no idea there were companies that specialized in information logistics, I assumed that large corporations all had their own departments for that. When I found Sigma Technology I knew what I wanted to do after graduating”, Yuting says. But the question was: how to get there?

Sigma Technology has signed a two-year outsourcing agreement with BTG in Säffle. BTG is one of the world’s leading suppliers of innovative technologies and expertise to the Pulp & Paper industry. Sigma Technology has supplied BTG with information logistics services for several years, and the cooperation has now been renewed in the form of a new two-year agreement for technical documentation.

For the past months Sigma Technology in Karlskrona has been involved in training of new technical writers for a major telecom company. –“Our customer is moving parts of their development to Chennai in India, and it is key for them that the documentation quality can be maintained”, says Arto Valtonen from Sigma Technology. Sigma Technology has been responsible for the knowledge transfer to the new technical writers in India.

Sigma Technology team wins silver in customer football cup

Shiny silver medals was the result after a Sigma Technology Hungary team participated in the 8th annual R&D Football Cup organized by Ericsson Telecommunications Hungary. The final as well as the matches leading there were real nail-biters! The Sigma Technology team was clear first in its qualifying group thanks to its rock-solid defence, agile strikers, and its inspired goal-keeper. The result earned the team a place in the semi-final where after two goalless halves, they managed to prevail after three nerve-wrecking rounds of penalty kicks.
