Sigma Technology Selected as End-to-End Supplier for New Housing Allocation System for Boplats Växjö
Following a comprehensive public procurement process, Sigma Technology Software Solutions has been selected to develop and manage Boplats Växjö’s new housing allocation system. Under the ten-year agreement, Sigma Technology will serve as the sole supplier and assume full responsibility for development, operational support, maintenance, user support, and continuous enhancement of the digital platform that will support the municipality’s housing allocation services for years to come.
Boplats Växjö manages the municipal housing queue and housing allocation services in Växjö Municipality. The organization currently serves approximately 78,000 registered users and handles around 2,500 housing allocations annually. To meet increasing demands for flexibility, usability, and future growth, Boplats Växjö is replacing its existing system with a modern digital platform. The new solution will support the organization’s long-term development and create value for housing applicants, administrators, and affiliated property owners.
The procurement included developing a system tailored to Boplats Växjö’s specific operational requirements, including managing multiple housing queues, priority allocation rules, and the future onboarding of additional property owners. The project also includes migration of existing data, training, support, maintenance, and continuous development throughout the contract period.
