Sigma Technology strengthens its position in FinTech with a dedicated team in Skövde
Sigma Technology Embedded Solutions establishes a unit with a dedicated team to evolve financial technologies and services in Sweden and global clients. The team consists of various roles spanning from developers and migration- & integration experts to business analysts, project managers, and solution architects.
Sigma Technology Embedded Solutions expands its team in Skövde and starts providing professional full-cycle services for FinTech companies and startups. The company is established in Sweden and currently counts 5 locations across the country. Mikael Karlsson, President at Sigma Technology Embedded Solutions, says: “Sweden is one of the leading countries in the world when it comes to financial technologies. It might soon become the first cashless country in the world. Close collaboration between well-established traditional businesses and young but disruptive startups matured the FinTech market. Therefore, it is not a surprise that the country is on the list of the most popular destinations in the world for professionals working in finances,” and continues, “We aim to support both local and international clients with advanced FinTech solutions and apply our know-how to make a difference. That is why we are establishing a unit with a dedicated team who will work exclusively with the financial sector.”
Kenneth Alfelt, unit manager at Sigma Technology Embedded Solutions, who will lead the direction, shares: “Over the years, we have worked with many Swedish and European debt collection companies as well as with large banks and system vendors. We have helped companies with migrations, integrations, and developing innovative products, to name a few examples. Our team members are well familiar with the finance industry, primarily with debt collection and factoring. Our roles span from developers and migrations- & integrations experts to Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Solution Architects. Our customers consist of both banks, debt collection & factoring companies as well as system vendors who provide the solutions that our customers use.”
The FinTech department unites colleagues from the past who got the opportunity to build their own team. They define their two goals: always to give their customers the best value and service and maintain strong and trusting relationships with each other and their customers.
