Sigma Technology at Almedalen – Highlighting AI, Sustainable Consumption, and Data in the Public Sector

From June 23 to 27, the streets of Visby, Gotland, will once again transform into the hub of Almedalen Week, where politicians, decision-makers, civil society, and businesses gather to shape Sweden’s future. Sigma Technology Group will be on-site, discussing how digitalization, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration can drive sustainable consumption and a more efficient public sector.
“We aim to be a trusted advisor and digitalization partner to the public sector, and we currently collaborate with several of the country’s largest public organizations. At Almedalen, we want to show the tangible impact that cross-sector partnerships can have. Real change happens when we work together,” says Anna Nyblin, Bid Manager at Sigma Technology IT Group.
On June 24–25, Sigma Technology will host panel discussions featuring experts from Interior Cluster Sweden, GS1 Sweden, Jordkraft, Pulsen Omsorg, KTH, Linnaeus University, and Tendium. Topics will range from energy transition and AI in welfare to data management and digital product passports.
A unique meeting space will be created in central Visby on June 25, when Sigma Technology opens its own tent at S:t Hansplan. The tent includes a Speaker’s Corner furnished by the Swedish design house Ingridsdotter and renowned designer Jonas Bohlin. All furniture in the studio is equipped with digital product passports developed in collaboration between Sigma, Lingon, and Ingridsdotter.
“We want to inspire meaningful conversations. Our studio is designed to encourage deep discussions about the role of technology in society – all in an environment that reflects Swedish values of innovation, transparency, and timeless design,”says Nataly Lamkén, Head of Communications at Sigma Technology.
