Time for a more equal industry
Femmegineering is Sigma’s global initiative dedicated to building a community of female tech professionals, contributing to a more equitable and inclusive tech industry. We achieve this through inspirational events, sharing career stories, and fostering partnerships in Sweden and Hungary.
The tech industry is screaming for engineers, especially female engineers. But only around 25 % of those who apply for engineering programs are women. A number that we want to change, and therefore must strive to change.
Femmegineering aims to get more women into the industry and more girls to choose a technical career. An aim that will make the entire industry more equal. It’s about time, it’s femme O’clock!

On 21 April, Femmegineering by Sigma in Gothenburg invites you to a morning where technology, society, and security meet. At this breakfast event, we bring together leaders, innovators, and engineers from across the Gothenburg region and Europe to explore how civil–military innovation, diverse teams, and human‑centered design can strengthen Sweden’s resilience.
